Tourism projects in Croatia enjoy the support of state and local community organisations. The up and coming generation of young politicians promotes the development of sustainable concepts, which are based on sound ecological grounds. The architectural sins of the past, as we know them only too well from the “classic” holiday destinations in Southern Europe, are not anticipated in Croatia.

DEEPBLUE CROATIA fully supports this concept of a “gentle” approach to tourism, which has been formulated and established by the Croatian government. It forms the basis for our work.

Our guidelines:

1. Nature itself provides us with the blueprint for our projects: we only build where it is really appropriate by nature, protecting flora and fauna.
2. We plan organic units, in harmony with the landscape: individual elements are placed around a central village green to form a harmonious dwelling place.
3. We observe and adhere to German quality standards.
4. We take all ecological aspects into consideration including solar energy, usage of rainwater, wastewater purification etc.
5. We use local materials, such as Dalmatian sandstone for all external walls as well as timbers from the region.
6. We are on site when you need us: well-trained contacts from the communities nearby are responsible for servicing and maintaining all holiday homes.
7. We take into account your individual wishes –in respect of location, size, room layout, material and equipment of the holiday homes.
